Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statutes Chapter 589, the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Office maintains a list of sex offenders residing in Cape Girardeau County who are required to register under Section 589.400 RSMo. A list of sex offenders is being offered on this web site as a public service to citizen's who may need this information for the protection and well-being of their families. This list contains the names of registered sex offenders who reside in Cape Girardeau County only.

Although every effort is being made to keep this list as accurate and current as possible, the Sheriff's Office cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. Offenders may have moved and failed to notify our office as required by law. Contact the Sheriff's Department or your local law enforcement agency for verification of an offender's status. Once you have downloaded and Installed the FREE Google Earth Mapping System 

Click the Link below, Right Click and Save the Target CGCSOSEXOFFENDERS120805 ZIP FILE  to your desktop:

Unzip the file to any file on your  hard-drive or just to the desktop

Then after you have saved this file to your desktop unzip the file and then double click on it.  Google Earth Mapping will Open the file and you will see all of the Sex Offenders and where they live in relation to Local Schools and Daycare Facilities.  There is a built in measuring tool that allows you to measure in feet how far away the Sex Offenders live in relation to the Schools or Day Cares.  Keep in mind the location on the map may be off just a little bit.

This page will always be under construction and offenders will be added and or updated until as often as possible.  You will just have to download the newest version of the file above to keep getting the most up to date information you will know by the date at the end of the file name as to how current the offender list is.
