We have been in constant contact with our contracted health services for the jail and the staff have been following all recommendations. Medical staff are following all guidelines and recommendations. Continuous health checks are being implemented. We ask that if you do not have an emergency, please limit your visits to our facility. Our 9-1-1 Dispatch Center has implemented additional questions in the call-taking process, and we ask for everyone's patience as we implement these additional steps. We will continue to respond to all emergency situations. Officers will continue services with instructions on the recommended safeguards to protect themselves and the citizens. In our effort to keep our citizens safe, if any elderly citizens in the county do not feel comfortable leaving their home and need assistance in obtaining their daily prescribed medications, our office will assist with delivery of those medications.
