New Release - Search Warrant

On Friday, March 4th, 2022, Cape
Girardeau County Sheriff Deputies
served a search warrant on a residence
off Hwy 177 just north of Cape
Girardeau City limits. Deputies were
assisted by multiple jurisdictions,
including Alton, Illinois, Police Department.
The warrant was to locate any evidence
of a recent shooting in Alton, Illinois.
Two individuals were arrested for the
following offenses:
Trey Williams a twenty-two-year-old
from Riverside, California.
Count: 1 Class D felony of possession
of a controlled substance
Bond set at $15,000 surety. Williams
has posted bond.
Tyler Parker a twenty-year-old from
Godfrey, Illinois.
Count: 1 Class D felony of possession
of a controlled substance.
Bond set at $25,000 surety. Parker has
posted bond.
A third arrest was made on an unrelated
juvenile warrant from Madison County,
Illinois.
This is an ongoing investigation, with
further arrests possible.
The Charge of an offense is merely an
accusation, and the defendant is presumed
innocent until and unless proven guilty.
