Over the last seven days, the efforts of Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Deputies have resulted in multiple arrests.

Sixteen individuals were taken into custody on the following charges:

Felony - Child Molestation 1st Degree
Felony - Statutory Rape (Person Less Than 14 Years of Age) x2
Felony - Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
Felony - Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Felony - Class B - Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Felony - Class D - Possession of a Controlled Substance
Felony - Class E - Assault 3rd Degree
Felony - Class E - Maintaining or Keeping a Public Nuisance
Felony - Domestic Assault 2nd Degree
Felony - Probation - Domestic Assault 3rd Degree
Felony - Probation/Parole - Probation Violation - Assault 2nd Degree
Felony - Failure to Comply with Court Order - Possession of a Controlled Substance
Felony - Class D - Fail to Obey Judge's Order - Possession of a Controlled Substance
Felony - Class D - Fail to Obey Judge's Order - DWI
Felony - Contempt of Court - Domestic Assault 2nd Degree
Probation Violation - Class A Misdemeanor - Domestic Assault 4th Degree
Probation Violation - Class A Misdemeanor - Resisting/Interfering with Arrest
Failure to Appear - Traffic
Failure to Appear - Traffic

 
If you have active warrants for your arrest in Cape Girardeau County, there is a good chance you

will encounter deputies from our Fugitive Task Force soon.

We strongly encourage you to turn yourself in at the Sheriff's Office.
